TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Rated voltage (Uo/U): 0.6/1kV.
Voltage test 50Hz – 5min: 3.5kV.
Max. conductor temperature in normal operation: 70ºC.
Max. conductor temperature in short-circuit for 5s max duration:
- Conductor cross-section > 300 mm²: 140ºC.
- Conductor cross-section ≤ 300 mm²: 160ºC.

APPLICATION:

Service entrance cable is a specialized cable used for connecting from the utility pole to the individual meter of each establishment, building, or residence.

STRUCTURE:

1. Conductor: Hard drawn aluminum, circular compacted or concentric stranded conductor (class 2).
2. Insulation: PVC.
3. Filler: PP filling, binding tape or PVC.
4. Armour: Aluminum tape.
5. Outer sheath: PVC.
